Lambeth Officers are appealing for information and witnesses to a robbery.


The incident occurred on Tuesday 30 August at around 14:15hrs by the bus stop outside Clean image, 262 Norwood Road, SE27.


The victim, a 71 year old man, was boarding a bus when he felt someone grab him from behind. He was dragged backwards off the bus onto the pavement.  The suspect then searched the victim stealing a large amount of cash. The suspect then ran turning into York Hill out of sight.  

The suspect is described as a small white man aged between 20-30yrs wearing a bright purple t-shirt, grey jacket and blue jeans.

Police are keen to trace anyone in the area who may have seen or heard something.
