Officers from Cheam’s Safer Neighbourhood Team now have their own dedicated car to support their police work within their ward, thanks to the generosity of local building management services company Smith & Byford. The Vauxhall Astra 1.3 TDI, which sports the Met Police logo and the company’s logo, will help officers engage with residents and communities more quickly in a ward that stretches four miles from north to south. The Borough Commander, Guy Ferguson and the Cheam SNT will be interviewed on Point FM. The radio station has been set up by Cheam Baptist Church and will broadcast between 21st March 2010 and 6th April 2010. Officers are due to be interviewed on the following dates and times: Monday 22nd March 11am-noon Borough Commander Guy Ferguson. Thursday 25th March 12.30-13.00 PCSO Steve King. Wednesday 31st March 12.30-13.00 Safer Parks Sgt Mark Dolce Thursday 1st April 14.00-14.30 Sgt Stuart Taylor-Bard |
