Information regarding a theft in your local area 13 Jan 13:32

Dear Members,

Please be aware of a theft which occurred on Sunday 10th January 2010 on the ABBOTS MANOR ESTATE, WARWICK WAY SW1.

At approximately 1330 hours, an unknown female (caller) knocked on a door at the above address in the local area. The occupier of the house opened the door and the caller told the occupier that she knew her and that she had a Christmas present for her. The occupier let the caller into her home. The caller sat on the sofa and told the occupier she would need some money before giving her the present. The caller distracted the occupier by asking her for a hot drink as it was cold outside. The occupier left the caller alone in her front room and then went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea for the caller.

Minutes later, the caller appeared at the kitchen door telling the occupier that she had just taken a call from a friend and needed to leave.
Upon returning to the living room the occupier realised that her purse had been taken from inside her handbag.

The caller is described as:
A black female, Approximate Age of 20 years old, F509 in height, speaking with a London accent. She had a straight black bobbed haircut just below the ear. She was wearing a white jacket with a blue pattern over a black shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms. She smelt strongly of cigarettes and perfume.
